For the past two years, General Hospital soap stars Steve Burton (“Jason Morgan”), Scott Reeves (“Dr. Steve Lars Webber”), Brandon Barash (“Johnny Zacchara”) and Bradford Anderson (“Damian Spinelli”) have been giving their fans a little something extra. In addition to personal appearances made throughout the year to meet and greet with their fan base, the foursome have also been delivering something special with their rock cover band, Port Chuck.

The success of Port Chuck became bigger than they expected during that time. The success of sold-out tours and the release of their second album, ‘Port Chuck: Vol. 2’ (available for purchase through CDbaby.com), leaves the actors wondering just how far this thing can really go. Full Access Magazine recently caught up with Scott Reeves and Steve Burton to discuss the band’s latest album and what is in store for Port Chuck in years to come.

‘General Hospital’ EP on Sonny’s Morality, ‘One Life to Live’ Crossovers and His Obsession with Props

“General Hospital” executive producer Frank Valentini  is the comeback kid. After enduring the cancellation of his previous show, “One Life to Live” by both ABC and the production company that wanted to turn it into an online series, he took over the struggling GH. In just six months, he’s turned it into must-see TV, winning accolades from previously disgruntled viewers.

The network has reinvested in the show, giving it a panel at the Television Critics Association gathering, along with all of the network’s new programming. I spoke with Valentini at the ABC party about his belief that spoilers are the root of all evil, managing the OLTL crossover, the mob, the future of the Quartermaines, and his love of props.

2012 GHFCW Logo Merchandise

Greetings! Many of you have ask me if any of the GHFCW logo merchandise was still available.  For those of you who could not attend or those of you who found your size was already ‘sold out’ I am going to make a one time offer of the below merchandise.

I will have to place a re-order as all was sold out but do not want any of you to miss out.  There said it:).  If you are interested please shoot me an email at ghpcfanclub.com with merchandise in the subject line and I will send  you an order form.  I will take orders until August 20th at which time it will be cut off and ordered and that will be the end of this years logo material.

2012 General Hospital Fan Club Weekend

The 2012 GHFCW was so much fun….lets do it again! Yes, we are already working on plans for a fabulous 50th Anniversary Fan Club Weekend, like no other….so stay tuned!  I hope you were one of the lucky ones who were able to join us this year…if you were not able to make it for one reason or the other, start saving now you do not want to miss next years FCW.  

I would like to start off by thanking all you fabulous fans who joined us this year and who have personally taken the time to let me know what a great time you had. We now you have a choice and we are happy you choose to spend the weekend with us.
