Please take the time to read through this FAQ page and the “Important Information…” page as it is likely that most questions will be answered there.  We tend to stick to the rules to remain fair to everyone.

CAN I CONTACT DEBBIE MORRIS OR A STAFF MEMBER BY PHONE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS?

No.  We work in emails only.

HOW MANY DAYS SHOULD I PLAN TO STAY?

Check the event list and consider which events you want to attend.  Events are typically scheduled Thursday through Monday.

WILL MY FRIENDS AND I BE ABLE TO SIT TOGETHER AT THE MAIN LUNCHEON?

Probably, if you ordered your tickets on the same order form, sent in the same envelope.

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO GETS WHAT TABLE FOR THE LUNCHEON?

Seating is determined by the order in which ticket orders are received.

ARE TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR EVENTS AT THE DOOR?

If the event is not sold out, tickets are usually sold at the door.

WILL YOU SAVE A TICKET FOR ME?  DO YOU HAVE A “WILL CALL” LIST?

We have given this practice a good shot in the past and have found that it creates conflict with ticket sales.  For this reason, we no longer hold tickets for people to pick up on a “will call” or reservation list.  If tickets for an event are not purchased by the cut off date, guests must come to the check in table at the time of the event to see if tickets are available for purchase at the door.

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT TO RECEIVE MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

If you ordered by mail before July 1st and have not received a confirmation email from us by July 15th, please email us.

I NEED A SPECIAL DIETARY CONSIDERATION FOR THE MAIN CAST LUNCHEON AND OTHER EVENTS.  HOW CAN I GET THIS?

Email us before July 1st and let us know.  After July 1st, we are unable to guarantee special menu considerations.

I’VE HAD SOMETHING COME UP AND CANNOT ATTEND THE GHFCW, BUT I HAVE ALREADY ORDERED TICKETS. CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK?

No.  You may resell your ticket privately, but you must let us know of any name change in ticket holder by July 10th.

AT THE LAST MINUTE, I LEARNED THAT MY FRIEND CANNOT COME AS PLANNED.  CAN SOMEONE ELSE USE HER TICKET?  CAN SHE GET A REFUND?

All ticket holder changes must be submitted before July 10th.  No exceptions.  All ticket sales are final and refunds are not given.  (This is by far our most frequently asked question, so I worded it in two different ways)

CAN YOU HELP ME SELL MY TICKET?

No, that is not a service provided by the GHFC. We recommend using GH social media outlets to connect with people who may wish to purchase your ticket privately.

CAN I PAY FOR ALL OF MY EVENTS WITH ONE MONEY ORDER?

You may pay for tickets sponsored by the GHFC with one money order.  These are events that specifically list Debbie Morris as a point of contact.  All other ticket orders must be made individually to the specific coordinator for that event.  Please read event details carefully to make sure your ticket order is processed.  (For instance, you can pay for ticket orders for the Kick Off Cocktail Reception and the Main Cast Luncheon with one money order since those are all  GHFC sponsored events)

WILL I GET AN ACTUAL TICKET FOR THE EVENT?

No. You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your order.

CAN I SHARE MY LUNCHEON TICKET WITH MY FRIEND AND GIVE HER MY WRISTBAND HALFWAY THROUGH THE EVENT?

Absolutely not.

I HAVE SEVERAL THINGS FOR MY FAVORITE ACTOR TO SIGN. IS THAT OK?

No.  For each actor’s line, we allow one autograph and one photo per guest.

CAN SOMEONE TAKE MY PHOTO WITH THE ACTOR IF I COME ALONE?

Yes, event staff can take your photo.

DO YOU HAVE A PLACE WHERE I CAN RECHARGE MY DIGITAL CAMERA IF IT DIES?

No

WILL THE ACTORS TALK TO MY FRIEND AT HOME ON MY CELL PHONE?

No, this is not allowed.

BEFORE I BUY A TICKET, I WANT TO MAKE SURE [insert actor’s name here] WILL ATTEND.

We do not guarantee the attendance of any actor.

WHEN WILL WE KNOW WHAT ACTORS ARE ATTENDING THE MAIN LUNCHEON?  WILL AN ACTOR RSVP LIST BE POSTED?

The GHFC does not provide advance notice regarding what actors will attend the events.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MAIN CAST LUNCHEON, THE KICK OFF COCKTAIL RECEPTION, AND THE INDIVIDUAL ACTORS’ EVENTS?

The Main Cast Luncheon is a more formal sit down lunch that lasts most of Saturday and involves a good percentage of the cast.  The Kick Off Cocktail Reception is an informal, cocktail party where actors come and go throughout the evening, mingling with the guests.  Individual actor events usually involve the 1-2 key actors hosting the event.  They may have a guest or two (or may not).  There is usually a Q&A followed by autographs and photos.  There is a full description of each type of event in the right sidebar of this site under the heading “Even Specific Information.”

WILL YOU BE HAVING THIS EVENT ON THE EAST COAST OR IN MY TOWN?

At this time, this event is held solely in Glendale, California.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE EVENTS?

Children are allowed provided they are carefully monitored.  Strollers are not allowed due to limited space.  Children are charged full price for admittance if they will use a seat.  With so many people in attendance, it is not a particularly child-oriented zone.

CAN YOU HELP ME MEET UP WITH PEOPLE FROM MY AREA WHO ARE ATTENDING THE EVENT?

No.  The GHFC does not provide this particular service.

MY TABLE FOR THE MAIN LUNCHEON IS FURTHER BACK THAN LAST YEAR!  HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??

Seating is based solely on the order in which your ticket purchase was received. If your table is place differently than last year’s event, it is due to your ticket order being received earlier or later than before.

MY NAME IS NOT ON THE CHECK IN LIST, BUT I ORDERED TICKETS! WHAT DO I DO?

Ask to speak to Linda Howard. She will help you with any seating problems.

HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT TO WAIT IN LINE TO SEE AN ACTOR?

For some actors, a very, very long time.  Some actors have shorter lines.  Choose your targets carefully and do not have the expectation of visiting with all of the actors who are present.

IS IT OK IF I HUG THE ACTORS FOR MY PHOTOS?

For the comfort and security of our actors, guests are not to touch actors inappropriately or make inappropriate comments to them.  Anyone who does will be removed from the event.  Most actors are comfortable with a hug for a photo.  The photo below shows a respectful photo hug (this being the handsome Blake Gibbons, who plays Coleman and is a wonderful hugger).

WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE TO AN EVENT FOR WHICH I AM REGISTERED?

Find a staff member and check in.  Depending on how late you are, food may no longer be available at the event.  There are no refunds for late arrivals.

DO ALL EVENTS SERVE FOOD?

Most events over the GHFCW serve some sort of appetizer or meal.  Some do not.  Please read your event details carefully.  If food is not mentioned in the description, it is safe to presume it is not planned.  It is better to be surprised by food being present than to be hungry through an event because it is not!

CAN YOU HELP ME CONTACT JIM WARREN/DEBBY O’CONNOR/SOME OTHER EVENT COORDINATOR?

We post the contact information we are given for each event in addition to any event information the coordinators send to us.  If you are unable to contact an event coordinator, it’s likely we can’t either.  The GHFC only addresses questions related to the four events we are hosting this year.  All other event questions must be addressed to the event coordinator.

WILL PHOTOS BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE EVENTS?

Nearly all events have photos available for purchase.  Prices usually begin at $10-15 and go up from there.  You can also bring an item from home for signing.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY EVENT WITH PAYPAL OR A CREDIT CARD?

Payment for events sponsored by the GHFCW must be made in advance with a money order made payable to Debbie Morris or cash at the door if tickets are available.  We do not accept PayPal or credit cards.  Other event coordinators have their own policies for payment and you will need to contact them for this question.  Please carefully read ticket order instructions for each event you plan to attend and follow those instructions carefully.

WILL YOU HOLD A TICKET FOR ME AND LET ME PAY YOU AT THE DOOR?

No.  Due to problems with this practice, we do not do this any more.  There is no longer a will call list or wait list.

I WANT TO SET UP AN EVENT IN MY AREA FOR GH STARS TO ATTEND.  CAN YOU HELP ME DO THIS?

No, we only coordinate our own sponsored events.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR, WHERE SHOULD I STAY, HOW SHOULD I GET THERE, WHAT SHOULD I EAT, WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
